After celebrating 100 years of serving children in 2010, were excited to embark on our second century with new and exciting goals. First and foremost, we have set our sights on expanding the camping experience to include all children, regardless of their abilities.
With the support of The Ashway Foundation, we have plans to build and open a new building named Ashleys Place. This 4,400 square foot cabin will be able to accommodate up to 64 special needs children and a 24 hour nurse and health area. This is the first step to providing opportunites for all children of all abilities to go to camp together. We hope to raise funds and complete the project by the summer of 2013.
