The Channel 3 Kids Camp is located on 350 rolling wooded acres on the Andover, Coventry line. The natural area contains
deciduous and coniferous forest and is habitat for a wide variety of native New England flora and
fauna.
The grounds still show evidence of revolutionary war era settlements, farming, and milling, as well
as light industrial impact from the 1800s.
The landscape is shaped by the last ice age, as the forest sits astride the Skungamung River
valley and is the scene of various geological curiosities, including massive boulders left as glacial
deposits.
