After three years of darkness, Hartford's Holiday Light Fantasia in Goodwin park is returning...Now benefitting the Channel 3 Kids camp in 2011!
Holiday Light Fantasia is a magical drive through light display located in Hartford, CT's Goodwin park. Whether you're a kid, grandparent or just a young couple who are young at heart, the dazzling show will sure to be your new Holiday tradition.
The show stretches for over two miles through Goodwin Park where whimsical holiday scenes, familiar characters and local tributes shine bright in over 35 lighted scenes and 200 individual displays. The lighted animations celebrate not only Christmas, but Hanukkah, Kwanza, New Years and Three Kings Day.
Presenting sponsor Trantolo & Trantolo with WFSB Channel 3, The REACH Foundation and Connecticut Business Systems are helping to make a difference in the lives of thousands
of area children! When this popular Goodwin Park holiday event returns in 2011, it will be owned and managed by the Channel 3 Kids Camp and proceeds from the admission fees will help us to operate our 350-acre year-round program.
The 49-day show will open on Saturday, November 19, 2011
and close on Three Kings Day, January 6, 2012
