Celebrity Golf Tournament

Wednesday | August 29 |7am or 12:30pm tee-off

Gillette Ridge Golf Course in Bloomfield, CT

Offers players a choice of a 7:30AM or 12:30PM tee off and 18 holes of golf in a Scramble format. Registration includes a barbecue luncheon, open bar and an awards banquet emceed by Channel 3s Scot Haney, filled with dozens of raffle prizes and auctions. All players will receive a complimentary tournament gift and can compete in a variety of hole-in-one competitions.

In this, our 4th Annual W.R.A.P. luncheon, we are proud to honor Magi Bish. Magi lost her daughter to an abduction in 2000 and co-founded the The Molly Bish Foundation, dedicated to providing safety education, awareness and prevention of missing and exploited children. Additionally, we are excited and honored to welcome as this year's Keynote Speaker, Dr. William Petit Jr., founder of the Petit Family Foundation.

2012 will mark the ninth consecutive year Channel 3 celebrities, state leaders, and musical guests perform at this holiday show to benefit the Channel 3 Kids Camp. Starring Channel 3 Meteorologist Scot Haney, the show includes, music, story telling, dancing, comedy and special appearances!

Hosting an Event to benefit Channel 3 Kids Camp

At the Channel 3 Kids Camp we're always excited to work with people who enjoy sharing their talents and passions. We're very fortunate for the great kindness and support of individuals, groups and organizations in our community. Donations and support are crucial to advancing our mission of providing opportunities to children, families and communities through year-round recreational and educational programs that promote friendship, learning and growth.

Thirds party events are coordinated and completed independently by individuals or groups where Channel 3 Kids Camp is the beneficiary. Any individual or group planning to host a fundraiser using Channel 3 Kids Camp name, logo or brand must have approval prior to event.

Red Carpet Rumble –

World Famous Hollywood Cars and Stars

Ted Tine Motorsports and MGM Grand at Foxwoods will host one of the largest indoor and outdoor car and motorcycle shows on the east coast. Don’t miss George Barris “King Of Customs” along with Little Eddie Munster from The Munsters and Huggy Bear from Starsky & Hutch. Some of the world’s most famous Hollywood cars, such as the original 1966 Batmobile, Monkee-mobile, James Bond 007 Aston Martin DB5, DeLorean from Back to the Future II, and more will be onsite for you and the entire family to enjoy at MGM Grand at Foxwoods (located at 240 MGM Grand Drive Mashantucket, CT 06338 | Premier Ball Room).

The Red Carpet Rumble will include a variety of rare and historic collector vehicles along with drag racing, land Speed (Bonneville), vintage, custom, hot rods, and pristine show vehicles. Patrons will have access to meet and greet the stars. In addition, photo and autograph sessions with Hollywood Stars will be available during this event.

The first Friday of every month is Channel 3 Kids Camp Day at the Farmington restaurant. Mention “Channel 3 Kids Camp” or show our promotion flyer when placing your dine-in, curbside or take-out order and 20% of your total will be donated to the camp! This is a great event, fun to attend and everyone you invite will enjoy delicious food from CPK’s innovative menu.

All of CPK’s innovative pizzas are creatively designed on a delicious crust, and hearth-baked to perfection. Dreams Come True Travel Vacation for a Cause Dinner

Stacie Lepore, Owner of Dreams Come True Travel, LLC , a full-service home-based travel agency in Glastonbury, and Piatti Ristorante & Bar, also located in Glastonbury, are teaming up to raise money for the Channel 3 Kids Camp. The Vacation for a Cause Dinner is Thursday, June 16 at Piatti Ristorante (1001 Hebron Avenue) where her company will also make donations to the camp based on qualified bookings for vacations. Vacation For A Cause Dinner: Dreams Come True Travel has three different opportunities for the community to help if they are planning a future vacation :

1. The Sandals Gives Back Program: If anyone books a 6 night or longer vacation at any Sandals and or Beaches property at a concierge level or higher after completion of travel Dreams Come True Travel will contribute $100 towards the cause, if they deposit within 14 days of this event Sandals will contribute an additional $150 to the cause for qualified bookings. This is giving the opportunity of the camp to receive $250 for every qualified vacation book. To qualify for the $100 must be deposited by December 31, 2011 and travel must be completed by December 31, 2012

2. Deposit any 5 night or longer vacation package through Dreams Come True Travel and after completion of travel for every qualified booking a contribution of $50 will be given to the camp.

3. Come in to Piatti Ristorante & Bar on June 16, 2011 and a portion of proceeds will be going towards the Channel 3 Kids Camp that evening

When Dreams Come True Travel, LLC is hosting a Sandals/Beaches table at the following Channel 3 Kids Camp scheduled fundraisers, such as the Vacation for a Cause Dinner, Sandals Resorts will donate an additional $150 for every Sandals or Beaches vacation package booked within 14 days as a result of the event (same qualification as above).

For every vacation package booked for Sandals Resorts or Beaches Resorts generated through the fundraiser promotion, Dreams Come True Travel, LLC will contribute a $100 donation towards the cause. To qualify all bookings must be 6 nights or longer, and Sandals or Beaches Resorts booking must be concierge or higher. Grand Pineapple Beach bookings must be third category or higher.

Terms and Conditions

*Valid for bookings made April 4, 2011 - December 31, 2011 for a minimum 6 night stay in Concierge or higher, for travel by December 31, 2012. **$150 donation from Sandals Resorts will be issued for Sandals and Beaches Resorts booking made within 14 days after an approved appearance at a fundraiser event. Each organization will receive a monthly report from Dreams Come True Travel, LLC on the number of bookings that have been made for their individual organization. All funds earned from vacation package bookings should be issues by Dreams Come True Travel, LLC to the organization on a quarterly basis; funds will be delivered after the guest has completed travel to the resort. Program can be changed or withdrawn at any time
