We welcome children to an exciting summer of hands-on activities, outdoor recreation and making new friends! Channel 3 Kids Camp is proud of offer day camp programming for children ages 6-12 in the summer of 2011. Campers will experience quality programming, elite staff, and camp life with the option to return home each night.
This program is perfect for those younger campers not ready to spend nights away from home or a great alternative to traditional day care. Like our overnight programming, campers can experience variety of activities, adventure, and safe summer fun! Day camp participants are grouped by age, creating age appropriate activites and games.
The day camp program usually operated at capacity each session with dozens of local children from towns including Amston, Andover, Bolton, Coventry, East Hartford, Ellington, Hebron, Manchester, Tolland, Windsor, and more. “Tad Pole” campers are age’s 6 to 8, each experiencing days filled with Red Cross certified swimming lessons, nature hikes, gardening, arts & crafts, story time in the shade, field games, and much more. Next week they look forward to setting out on a Salamander Safari and an ice cream party by the river. Campers ages 9 – 12 find themselves conquering Rope Course elements, acting on-stage at performing arts, creating movies in the video studio, and cooling off in the pool when the summer sun gets too hot.
At Channel 3 Kids Day Camp, children learn self esteem and independence through learning and playing with other children. Our structured and highly supervised program features a 6:1 camper to staff ratio. Our staff comes from all over the country and all over the world, with activity leaders from the U.S., Canada, England, Australia, and New Zealand.

2012 DAY CAMP RATES
Each week long session is $150.00 ($30/day, $3/hour). Work schedule conflict? No problem! We offer an expanded program accepting early arrivals at 7:30 a.m. and late pick up at 5:30 p.m. at no additional fee - we even serve hot breakfast to our early birds! We register campers on a first-come, first-served basis and last year our day camp program was at capacity every week - don't delay!
All Inclusive!
Our program is designed with you in mind! All day campers receive lunch, an afternoon snack all served in our dining hall as well as our outside picnic area. All day campers will also receive a Camp T-Shirt.
