Garden of Hope Dinner & Auction

Wine Tasting Reception (6:00 pm to 7:15 pm)
Our exclusive Wine Tasting Reception will take place from 6:00pm - 7:15pm in the Jersey Room for an additional $10 donation. Broadway Wine & Spirits in Colchester, CT will host the special tasting, featuring signature selections from around the world and our own backyeard. Brescome Barton Inc. generously provided all the wine featured in the 2011 Wine Tasting Reception.
Balloon Chance (6:00pm until all are sold)
Balloon Chances will open at 6:00pm and will continue until they are all sold. Each balloon contains a piece of paper with a number that corresponds with a prize. Purchase a chance, pick a balloon, pop it and win. All balloon prizes are worth at least $20 with many worth more. Try your luck and see what you win!!
Silent Auction (6:00pm to 8:00pm)
The Silent Auction will open _ 6:00pm. When the live auction begins, the bidder sheets will be collected and the winning bids will be posted and provided to the check out table. Winner boards will be posted at the end of the live auction.
Sit Down Dinner (7:15pm - 8:00pm)
We have chosen a fresh fruit tart for dessert along with freshly brewed coffee or specialty teas. While you are dining we will show a brief presentation about the Channel 3 Kids Camp.
Live Auction (8:15pm)
The Live Auction will begin promptly at 8:15 pm with auctioneers Scot Haney, Irene O’Connor and Damon Scott. Please put your paddles to good use and bid it up for the Channel 3 Kids Camp and the more than 4,000 children who benefit each year.
The evening will highlight Connecticut grown products and companies and will feature:
Full Course Dinner including Dessert ~ Exclusive Wine Reception ($10 pp) ~ Silent Auction
Live Auction ~ Balloon Chances ~ Great Door Prizes ~ Entertainment
Channel 3 Kids Camp 7th Annual Garden of Hope Dinner & Auction will be held on Saturday, June 18 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at the Crowne Plaza Cromwell, 100 Berlin Road in Cromwell, CT. Join us with celebrity auctioneers WFSB Channel 3’s Scot Haney and Irene O’Connor along with 96.5 TIC FM’s Damon Scott! The fun filled evening will help Channel 3 Kids Camp continue its mission to provide year-round camping opportunities to children throughout Connecticut.
There's something for everyone at the Kids Camp Garden of Hope Auction, featuring a balloon chance, silent auction, wine reception, great food, and a fun-filled, entertaining live auction. The multi-faceted auction offers a wide variety of items for every taste including goods & services, trips, dining, entertainment, home and garden decor, sports memorabilia, event tickets, gift items and more!
